aljubby's semantic vagueness in the book sharrih ghareeb alfath almudawwana

â â â  â  abstract â â â  this study addressed the semantic vagueness in aljubby's book (sharih ghareeb alfath almudawana) in almaliki terms. it consists of introduction, preface, three sections, and conclusion. the preface stated the semantic obscurity in language and terminology with the definition of the book (almudawana) in maliki fiqh. the first section studied aljubby's method and character in his book. the second section showed semantic thought in aljubby's terms. the third section dealt with semantic and linguistic phenomenon mentioned in his book. â  the research ended with conclusion summarizing the results. the research tried to state the relationship between linguistic studies and jurisprudence it also showed aljubby's approach in (alfath an ghareeb) in its lexical significance and jurisprudential terms. aljubby added the book to his linguistic and lexical repertoire showing linguistic thought through linguistic criticism and his knowledge of linguistic reality in terms of aim and performance. furthermore, the book encompassed many linguistic phenomena and he also displayed semantic efforts it included linguistic legacy signaling the roots of linguistic historical lexicon . â
